Dr Randolph A Jones, DMD, LVIM

Dr. Jones grew up in Charleston, SC, and did his undergraduate studies at Clemson University obtaining a BS degree, cum laude, in Biochemistry.  In 1984 he graduated with honors from the Medical University of South Carolina’s School of Dentistry.  He was inducted into Omnicron Kappa Upsilon national honors fraternity for dental medicine.  Private practice and continuing education have been ongoing for Dr Jones ever since.  He has two practices, one in Summerville and one in Johns Island, SC.  To keep even busier, he is a clinical instructor at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies where he teaches courses on cosmetic, reconstructive, and TMJ therapy.  He is also on the board of directors for The International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics.  He served as president of the IACA from 2011-2012.  He is a member of the ADA, SCDA, AGD, Charleston Dental Society, AACD, and numerous other dental study clubs.

Dr Jones was the first, and is still, the only dentist in SC to be awarded the coveted LVIM award for a mastership in Aesthetic and Neuromuscular Dentistry.  He has devoted over 29 years to the art, science, and technology of dentistry to enhance his patient’s lives.  He serves as an advisor for several dental manufacturing companies that help improve the profession of dentistry through research and development.  He is always “changing smiles, changing lives”.

Dr Jones started placing implants in 1990.  He studied under Dr Doug Clepper, Dr Paul Homoly, Dr Carl Misch, Dr Arun Garg, and Dr Leo Malin.  Never has it been easier than now to improve people’s lives through implants.

James H. Clarke, Jr., D.D.S., F.A.G.D.

Dr. Clarke was born inLouisville,Kentucky, but found his way toTexasaround the seventh grade.  At Southwestern University in Georgetown,Texas, he received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. While there he served as President of his fraternity and was elected to the Honor Council.  Upon graduation he spent a year teaching and coaching in the Plano, Texas, school district.  He subsequently was admitted into Baylor Dental School.  Upon graduation he moved to Houston, Texas, to start a private practice while concurrently working as an associate in another practice.  After understanding early in his career that the education never stops, he joined the American Academy of  General Dentistry to focus on his opportunities. At this time, as a Member Emeritus, the time to achieve his Fellowship was wroth with incredible enlightenment on the benefits dentistry could bestow his fellow man.  An interest in practice management led him to become involved with teaching and mentoring in the Quest Marketing and Management Seminars.   An exposure to implant dentistry in 1984 led him to be the first sign up for what was to become the Misch Implant Institute.  Recognizing Dr. Clarke’s energy and passion toward implant dentistry, Dr. Misch asked him to join the faculty to mentor ”over the shoulder” surgery and lecture on selected subjects.  This excitement led him to pursue and achieve Fellowship status in the American Academy of  Implant Dentistry and the Misch Implant Institute.

During the following years he achieved the honor of becoming a Diplomat of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and a Mastership in the American Academy of  Implant Prosthodontics.  After more years of service and an extensive examination, he was awarded Board Certification and Diplomat status from the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry.  Realizing the importance of occlusal forces in implant success, he pursued his studies at the Las Vegas Institute of Dental Studies developing an admiration for the science, anatomy and physiology found in neuromuscular dentistry.  So valued, he has become a clinical instructor at that prestigious institution and continues to enjoy mentoring dentist in not only implant dentistry but also those seeking excellence in restorative and myo-functional disorders.  Understanding the importance of a unified front for the defense neuromuscular dentistry, Dr. Clarke is a sustaining member of the International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics.  His training, openness and passion have enabled many other dentists to achieve their goals through his careful mentoring.  He further serves the profession acting as an expert witness defending general dentist against prosecution.
